State-of-the-art lift mechanism
The Essence Dawn features a state-of-the-art lift mechanism, with a 150Kg user weight limit, it can raise you up to a standing position and back down to a seated position with the touch of a button. This is perfect for those who have difficulty getting up or sitting back down.
Its dual motor mechanism allows you to set any angle for the backrest and leg rest independently, so you have an almost infinite amount of adjustment to find your perfect position
The mechanism also includes a foot peddle to activate “attendant mode” for easy transportation.
Lift safety & stability feature
The Essence Dawn features a revolutionary safety & chair stability feature for users of riser recliner chairs.
When the button is pressed to lift the chair, the wheels under the chair retract so that the chair mechanism will be stable and will not move during the lift.
When the chair is lowered, the wheels will engage again when it reaches the lowest point.
Once lowered, you will be able to move the chair again
Attendant push function
To move the chair to another location with the occupant seated, the Essence Dawn chair features an “attendant” mode. Simply depress the peddle at the rear of the chair with your foot, which will raise the chair up and deploy casters that allow the chair to be easily pushed by an attendant or carer to another location.
A chrome push bar is fitted as standard across the rear of the chair to make this movement easier.
Comfort & support
When it comes to comfort the Essence Dawn is hard to beat. With a luxurious layer of high density memory foam supplemented with pocket springs under the seat, which work in together to provide optimal support & comfort.
The seat backrest itself features extended lateral “wings” which when combined with the in-built lateral support cushion, helps to keep you in the center of the seat and reduce any tendency to lean to one side.
The back-lit hand controller
The hand controller has large buttons that are backlit, which means you can adjust your chair – even in the dark or low light conditions.
When not in use the hand controller can be attached to the included hook/loop or in the deep side pockets – so you know where it is when you need it next.
